Southwest Ring Road Work

UPDATE: Alberta Transportation and KGL Constructors will host a drop-in information session regarding the north gravel site and haul road on June 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This event at the First Lutheran Church will update residents and other members of the public about the latest construction activity for the Southwest Calgary Ring Road.

Activity and Location: As construction work commences for the Southwest Calgary Ring Road (SWCRR), KGL Constructors will be driving piling for the new interchange south of Sarcee Trail and for the bridges in the Elbow River area. The piling will provide foundation support for the new structures.
Site impacts are expected to include:
 An increase in noise during working hours
 Equipment working in and around the area
 Equipment entering and exiting roadways
Advisories announcing traffic impacts are posted on the project website at www.SWCRRproject.com.
Scheduled Implementation Date: May 17, 2017
Scheduled Completion Date: August 2017
Hours of Work: Monday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sundays and holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
For your safety, please obey all construction signs and traffic control personnel when travelling through the area.
KGL would like to thank you for your cooperation and patience during this period of construction.
If you have any questions or would like SWCRR updates, please contact our 24/7 phone: 403-212-0565
